My name is Andrea Nisius and I'm a photographer based out of Ohio. Being passionately empathetic and a lover of people and nature is often reflected in my work. My imagery is cinematic and emotionally charged due to the topics I illuminate.
A lot of inspiration comes from Gregory Crewdson, emotions and feelings, personal experience, and horror films. What I most enjoy is bringing light to hard subjects using a film like quality to start a conversation on topics that need to be addressed that might otherwise be brushed off.
